Ticino Grotto

In winter - and for special occasions also in summer - the Ticino Grotto, featuring 65 seats and 8 additional seats at the bar, invites its guests to stay  in an attractive and stylish atmosphere until 11 p.m. in the morning. Meals are being served until 10.30 p.m. Why not enjoy our famous fondue together with a Boccalino?

The Ticino Grotto is an especially good choice for family celebrations and other festivities.

Fondue chat and salad buffet

As a starter we offer a salad buffet with 2 dressings. Then we will serve finely sliced beef and chicken and pre-cooked vegetables which you can cook in vegetable stock. With this we offer potato gratin and 4 special sauces, gherkins  and pearl onions as well as baguette. Finally you will get a “tipsy egg” for your soup!

Valais Fondue Evening

A special treat for cold days! A typical Valais cheese fondue (Moitie-Moitie) and a cherry schnapps to round it off. This is a meal celebrating conviviality!

Swiss raclette

Try a typical Swiss meal! We will start with a BUFFET of “Salsiza, Bündner meat and Coppa with gherkin garnish. A rich Salad BUFFET rounds off the starters. Then our SWISS CHEF will offer you original raclette from the cheese loaf and “Gschwellti”, boiled potatoes This will be crowned by an ice cream cup, “Wilde Hilde” and “Crème Caramel”. We recommend a “Coffee Addiction” to round up your meal.

Ticino Buffet

Enjoy a typical Ticino buffet in our TICINO GROTTO.

You will start with a potato-leek soup followed by coppa and salsiz, shepherd’s salad and mixed salads, smoked trout fillets with horse-radish.
We will treat you to a main course of piccata with bacon strips with a fine cream sauce and leg of lamb in red wine with cremolata, ratatouille vegetables, ravioli with basil-mushroom- butter and polenta with cheese.
As dessert we will treat you to caramel flan, fruit salad, Ticino cherry parfait with stewed cherries.
